A suji-bachi helmet formed from 84 iron ribs (tetsu sabiji-ji), with original navy-blue odoshi and orange chin cord. The shikoro and yodare-kake are fully iron, reflecting high craftsmanship and functional design. The construction and stylistic features suggest attribution to the Saotome or Myōchin schools

The kabuto is crowned with an iron dragonfly (kachimushi) maedate, a symbol of courage and victory.
